Coming from the very small festival we were in 2019, the speed at which tickets for Fantasy Forest Sudeley sell these days continue to catch us off guard. Of course, the contrast with our first festival in 2019 is massive. But even recent years continue to amaze us.
When the festival sold out for the very first time in 2023, it took 283 days to do so. With Saturday being sold out after 243 days and camping tickets after 40 hours. In our minds, this was incomprehensible at the time and we never dreamt of beating these numbers.
Yet in both 2024 and 2025 these numbers were smashed. And again this year, with the Saturday even selling out within 15 hours and camping in an astonishing 27 minutes (which is the fastest they can sell as the ticketing system cannot process more tickets in 27 minutes)
Especially when you consider that since 2023, the capacity of the festival has increased by 70% and the campsite capacity has even doubled. This essentially means that Saturday sold out 800x faster this year when compared to 2026 (if you could only see the awe on our faces when we calculated that!).
It goes without saying that the exponential growth Fantasy Forest has experienced over the past few years would not be possible without you, our wonderful and amazing visitors. It is you who continue to motivate us to elevate the festival each year. Which brings us to the next part…
Missed out on Sudeley 2026 tickets? Fear not!
At this moment, the popularity of Fantasy Forest needs no introduction. To deal with this popularity, we are starting a second annual festival in September this year, Fantasy Forest Libertalia!
This second festival, while still very much Fantasy Forest, will be it’s own unique festival, with it’s own unique line up, entertainment and highlights. On top of that, the venue of Libertalia looks towards the future and allows for massive growth! Of course, this will be a controlled growth and we will increase numbers gradually over the years just like we did for Sudeley.
But despite this, with Saturday 60% sold out, Libertalia is already on track to follow in the footsteps of the original Sudeley event.
