Fantasy Forest provides festival-goers with the unique opportunity to camp in the historic grounds of Hatfield House. Staying on Midnight Hollow is a must for anyone who wishes to have the full experience!
Camping tickets are limited in availability and exclusively available online.
Check-in & tickets
Campsite visitors will have access to our campsite, Midnight Hollow from Friday 10AM until Monday 12PM. Visitors are free to leave to the real world during the day but vehicles movement is only allowed between 8AM and 10PM. At night the gates will be closed and staffed by security. The festival venue itself can only be access during festival hours.
Please be aware that staying at the campsite is at your own risk and we cannot take responsibility for any loss, damage or theft of your property.
Fantasy Forest Libertalia does NOT allow any sleep in vehicles (campervans, motorhomes, caravans,…)
Check in
Visitors can check in on Friday between 10AM and 10PM. Saturday arrivals can check in between 8AM and 12PM. Outside these hours it is not possible to check in.
Check-in steps:
- Upon arrival at the venue, follow the blue route ‘Campsite’
- Upon arriving at the campsite parking, follow the instructions of the parking attendants.
- Walk from your vehicle to the ticket control, where your ticket will be scanned and a wristband will be provided
- Enter the campsite, set up your tent or find your pre-pitched bell tent at the pre-pitched bell tent reception
- Enjoy an awesome weekend!
Tickets are exclusively available online and cannot be purchased at the gate. Camping tickets are per visitors and not per pitch. There is currently no limit on pitch size but we do ask our visitors to keep it reasonable.
Luggage shuttle
Dragging your tent for over 100 meters can be exhausting. That’s why we have made a luggage shuttle available!
Next to the campsite registration you’ll find the luggage pick-up point. From here, a shuttle will bring your bags and tent to the luggage point in the middle of the campsite.
This is an optional (free) service. You are of course welcome to bring your own trolleys to transport your luggage.
The shuttle will run at the following times:
- Friday 10am until 9pm
- Saturday 3pm until 8pm
- Sunday 3pm until 9pm
- Monday 9am until 12pm
Leaving the campsite
All good thing must come to an end. When you are ready to go back to reality, you can do so until 10PM on Sunday and Saturday. On Monday, all visitors must leave the campsite by 12PM. The luggage shuttle will be available most of the time (see times under ‘Luggage shuttle’) to bring your luggage back to the car park.
We expect all our visitors to leave the campsite the way the found it; clean and without rubbish. We ask all visitors to kindly leave their rubbish at the therefor allocated bins.
It is not allowed to enter the campsite with your vehicle when packing up.

Make sure you're informed!
- There is no electricity on our campsite. None.
- Hot showers, toilets and clean drinking water are present.
- Individual campfires are not allowed. .
- A blue badge area is available close to the facilities and entrance. Access must be requested on our ‘Accessibility’ page.
- Our campsite is split into different areas: Blue badge, pre-pitched bell tents and pitch your own tent.
Campsite rules
We must have some...
To maintain a safe and pleasant environment, there are a number of rules visitors must keep in mind. Failing to follow these rules can result in removal from the campsite.
All open or closed fires (including candles or torches) are prohibited on the campsite.
An exception to this rule, is the use of a small, portable stove powered by a small gas canister (max 500g) for cooking outside your tent. Cooking inside your tent is strictly prohibited. Not only does this create an increased fire risk but it also increases risk of carbon monoxide poisoning to those inside the tent.
- Glass containers are not permitted on the campsite outside of your tent/campervan.
- It is not allowed to set up gazebo’s or tents that are not used to sleep in (storage facility, creation of a “camp”).
- After midnight, a silent site policy is in place. We ask everyone to lower their voices and cease any musical instruments at the communal campfire. Noise in sleeping areas must be kept to a minimum at all times.
- Drunk behavior will not be tolerated.
- Keep the main emergency roads between the “bring your own tent” areas clear.
- Follow the instructions of the campsite staff at all times.
- Large LPG cans, reinforced sound (radio’s), generators, drugs, glass, or any other item the festival organization deems a safety hazard or disturbance, are prohibited.
- The organization reserves the right to permanently remove a person from the campsite without the right to a refund.

Don’t feel like bringing your own tent, mattress or sleeping bag? There will be a limited number of pre-pitched bell tents available for hire!
- 4m bell tents for up to 4 people
- 5m bell tents for up to 6 people
- 6m bell tents for up to 8 people
Note that ordering a bell tent does not include your camping ticket. These must be purchased separately for everyone staying in the bell tent.
Order your pre-pitched bell tent
Furnished vs unfurnished:
A furnished bell tent will come with mattresses and basic dressing (rugs, a mirror, small table tray and solar lights). It does not include bedding but this can be added for a fee.
Unfurnished bell tent is… Empty. No mattresses.
Important information:
- Dogs are not allowed in pre-pitched bell tents, except for assistance dogs (not emotional support animals)
- It is not allowed to pitch additional (sleeping) tents within the pre-pitched bell tent area
- If you wish to have your pre-pitched bell tent set up in the blue badge area, you must request this through the blue badge camping form
